Four phases. Foundation first.
The mistake to avoid is building later-phase machinery before the foundation is genuinely solid: a treasury still controlled by one person undermines every claim this project makes about accountability. Phase 1 has to be real before Phase 2 starts.

Foundation In progress
More is built than not: the token, the treasury, the application intake and the staking program (devnet-verified, with a published SDK) are done, and the repo is now open source. The planned presale was cancelled in October 2026; ACT will be acquired by trading. Mainnet deployment of staking, the public dashboard, on-chain governance, and a formal project registry are not yet.
- ✓Token (ACT): live on Solana mainnet, fixed 1,000,000,000 supply, mint authority revoked, fee authorities on the treasury vault. See the whitepaper.
- ✓Entity formation and initial legal review
- ✓Treasury multisig with real independent signers, live on mainnet, 2-of-3, tested end to end
- ✓Project application intake (apply.html), built ahead of schedule. Screening and milestone-gated funding aren't automated yet; submissions are received, not yet processed.
- ✓act-staking program: written, compiled, and tested end to end against real transactions on devnet. See Staking.
- ✓act-presale program: written and tested end to end on devnet, then retired when the presale was cancelled (October 2026). It was never deployed to mainnet.
- ✓Open-source TypeScript SDKs and Anchor IDLs for both programs, published to npm as @aretiafinance/act-staking-sdk and @aretiafinance/act-presale-sdk.
- ✓GitHub repository open-sourced and made public.
- ○Mainnet deployment of the staking program -- devnet-verified only; it has not touched mainnet or real ACT yet.
- ○Initial liquidity pool: planned as a small, self-funded seed, not yet live. Intended to deepen over time from further contributions and harvested trading fees rather than launch at full depth on day one.
- ○Transparent transaction allocation live on a public dashboard
- ○Basic governance (even if team-curated at first)
- ○Project Registry (v1: manual/simple, not the full on-chain version)
Climate finance
Project scoring (Layer 2), funding proposals, milestone-gated funding, and independent verification (Layer 3): turning the application intake into an actual funding pipeline.
MRV
Project monitoring, climate-impact measurement, emissions accounting, satellite/geospatial data integration, climate-risk data, independent verification infrastructure, and incentive-token mechanics for ecosystem contributors.
Global protocol
Multiple countries and project types, institutional participation, project developers, climate funds, NGOs, additional validators and verifiers, and potentially multi-chain deployment.
Climate capital marketplace Planned
A planned second capital stage, described in full in Part VIII of the whitepaper: projects that complete a full Catalyst Fund cycle graduate into a separately instrumented investment opportunity (an SPV, fund unit, or similar vehicle), with ACT staking gating priority visibility and access, never ownership of the project itself. This is on the committed roadmap, not a maybe -- but the investment-vehicle side of it does not begin until five conditions are all met: Aretia's operating entity is actually and verifiably registered; liquidity is seeded and ACT is trading; at least one Phase 2 grant has completed a full cycle end to end; the independent program review referenced above is complete; and a single project investment vehicle has been structured once, properly, with qualified securities counsel. The staking mechanism this phase would eventually gate access through is a separate, earlier piece of work already underway: its formula and on-chain program are compiled and live on Solana devnet, with locking and unlocking tested there against real transactions, though not yet on mainnet or independently reviewed. See Staking for current status. Staking working does not mean, and is not treated as, any of the five conditions above being met.
Why this order matters: building Phase 3/4 machinery before Phase 1 is genuinely solid would undermine the whole point. A treasury still controlled by one person, or a governance system that exists on paper but not on-chain, makes every claim about decentralization and accountability false in practice even if it's true in the whitepaper. Phase 1 has to be real before Phase 2 starts. Phase 5 is held to the same discipline, explicitly: it does not begin until entity registration, seeded liquidity, one full Phase 2 grant cycle, an independent program review, and one properly counseled investment vehicle are all real, not just described.
Everything Aretia does.

should fund the future.
ACT is live on Solana today, automatically funding a Climate Treasury on every transfer. The wallet brings self-custody across six chains as it ships.
The wallet's browser extension is in development and not yet on the Web Store.
